Joseph D. Williams is a hospitality and analytics executive with a career dedicated to advancing revenue optimization through data science, financial modeling, and applied analytics. As Corporate Vice President of Revenue Optimization, Analytics, Sales, and Distribution at Seminole Hard Rock, he leads pricing, forecasting, CRM, and data science initiatives for hotel-casino properties across North America, as well as managing brand compliance and customer care analytical solutions.
Joseph’s approach centers on leveraging analytical solutions to improve commercial performance—whether through dynamic pricing models, demand simulations, customer behavior segmentation, or machine learning applications. He has developed and implemented over 100 custom models supporting key functions like booking propensity, market capture analysis, customer lifetime value, and promotional ROI.
His real-world impact includes launching casino hotels from end-to-end revenue management systems to strategy, redesigning pricing using behavioral and environmental predictors, drive organizational change to focus on total revenue of a customer, and bottoms-up data mining approach to margin optimization. He has also advised on M&A valuations, hurricane-related revenue disruption modeling, loyalty program ROI optimization, and simulation modeling.
In addition to his current leadership role, Joseph is the founder of Analytical Advantage, a consultancy that empowers organizations to scale data strategies to maximize revenue outcomes. He previously served as Vice President of Analytics at Brightline Trains, where he managed the commercial playbook with data-driven pricing and marketing, and as Vice President of Data Sciences at Atlantis Paradise Island, where he oversaw hotel and waterpark revenue performance, budgets, data science, and cruise partnerships.
